Martedì 18 Febbraio Abbiamo assistito ad alcune lezioni dei ragazzi ospitanti e in seguito c’è stato il benvenuto delle insegnanti e della dirigente della scuola ai ragazzi del progetto Comenius. Abbiamo pranzato tutti quanti insieme a base di paella e nel pomeriggio abbiamo visitato Italica e Las Setas. E’ stato un giorno divertente e davvero interessante!

 

Tuesday, February 18 We attended some lessons with our Spanish friends that hosted us during our staying in Pilas; then there was the first meeting with the headmistress and the other partners of the Comenius project. We had lunch together: we ate paella, tortilla and empanada. In the afternoon we visited Italica and Las Setas in Sevilla. We enjoyed a lot and the journey was really interesting.

Giorno 20. Dopo aver fatto colazione assieme alle famiglie ospitanti, ci siamo recati a scuola alle ore 9:00 per trascorrere la giornata a Sevilla (SITO UNESCO). Arrivati a Sevilla assieme ai professori e agli altri ragazzi, abbiamo visitato il castello D ‘Alcazar dove all’interno era molto interessante e ricco di quadri preziosi .Verso le ore 13:00 noi ragazzi eravamo liberi di pranzare assieme alle ragazze spagnole .Siamo andati al MC Donald e dopo aver pranzato le ragazze ci hanno portato in giro per negozi . Verso le ore 3:00, dopo aver raggiunto i professori, ci siamo recati in autobus per rientrare a Pilas e cenare assieme alle famiglie

Venerdì 21 Febbraio è stato un giorno di gran festa, infatti era “ el Dìa de Andalucia” ma anche il nostro ultimo giorno a Pilas. La prima ora, con un’ insegnante d’arte, abbiamo fatto un segnalibro con un gufetto come ricordino, la seconda ora siamo stati nella biblioteca della scuola dove abbiamo mostrato col l’aiuto del computer immagini della nostra città , la terza in una classe dove ci hanno insegnato come si balla la “sevillana”, e poi tutti nel cortile a festeggiare. Ogni classe aveva allestito il proprio banchetto con la gastronomia tipica, tutti i ragazzi erano vestiti in bianco e verde come la bandiera dell’ Andalucia, le ragazze erano anche truccate ed in testa avevano un fiore. Era tutto ben organizzato,anche noi abbiamo preparato il nostro banchetto con i prodotti tipici calabresi: piparelle, caramelle al bergamotto,cioccolatini all’ arancia… i quali hanno molto apprezzato, soprattutto le caramelle al bergamotto. Tra musica e cibo ci siamo divertiti a trascorrere con loro questa importante festa.

Friday, 21st February It was a day of great celebration, it was “el Dìa de Andalucia”… but it was also our last day in Pilas. All the students were hard working. With the help of a teacher of art we made a bookmark with a little owl on the top, and then, after showing the Spanish students some pictures of our town we learnt how to dance the “Sevillana”. In the yard, groups of students had set up their own stand with the typical Spanish gastronomy on it. They were dressed in white and green as the colours of Andalucia’s flag and the girls had a flower in their hear. It was all well-organized. Even the European countries made their own stands each with typical national products. Ours had piparelle, bergamot sweets, orange covered with chocolate…. greatly appreciated. We enjoyed music and food and we were glad to have had the chance to celebrate with so many friends this significant Andalucian festival.
